We are so proud to introduce you to an inspiring student of our Atelier des Frères in Madagascar, Christian.

He is the eldest of two siblings and resides with his mother in Antohamadinika, a suburb of the capital.

He is the eldest of two siblings and resides with his mother in Antohamadinika, a suburb of the capital. With limited resources, his education stopped after the third grade. His mother, the sole provider, couldn’t afford his schooling.

This setback led Christian to find employment at a young age, determined to help support the family.

Amid these challenges, Christian’s journey took a remarkable turn when he discovered our Lasallian Atelier des Frères.

This initiative not only provides training in wood, iron, and aluminum processing but also aims to equip disadvantaged youth like Jimmy with skills that can secure better opportunities in the future

Over the last six months, he has acquired the skills and experience to master the trade of a carpenter, and he’s proud of the opportunity the Atelier des Frères has given him.

“Now I can find a job and lead a normal life”.
