Flood Crisis in Brazil
The recent floods, the worst in Brazil’s history, have claimed over 150 lives and displaced 580,000 individuals in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Thankfully, the waters are receding, allowing us to assess damages as we prepare to reopen our evacuated schools.
Among our teachers’ families alone, 350 individuals have lost everything, finding refuge in our non-evacuated schools alongside those in dire need. Universidade La Salle Canoas alone has sheltered 1450 people.
Flood victims urgently require water, food, clothing, and shelter. Your contribution to the Lasallian Emergency Fund can ensure all these necessities to them.
Your donation makes a significant impact, offering the urgent assistance they need now.
