
The first 5 projects of the #1LaSalle campaign are underway
The first five projects of the global #1LaSalle campaign have been implemented. The initiative aims to ensure access to education for vulnerable children and youth within the global La Salle network.
Out of 15 planned interventions, 5 are now active across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the United States, offering tangible responses to educational and social emergencies.
Lebanon – Fratelli Project
Non-formal education center for refugees
Despite the conflict with Israel since October 2024, the Fratelli Project has continued its work, reaching over 4,000 people with humanitarian aid. Educational activities have resumed and will continue throughout the year.

Cambodia – La Salle Pouthum
Scholarships for stateless children of Vietnamese descent
Sixty children from floating villages are attending school with access to transport, school materials, and a daily meal.

Ivory Coast – Akwaba Center
Reception center for children living on the street
In Abidjan, the center provides a safe home, food, medical care, education, and group activities for over 200 children.

Guatemala – Zona Reina
Vocational training for indigenous women
Thirty-six women are trained in agroecology and become peer educators, reaching more than 200 women in their communities.

United States – Homestead, Florida
Educational summer camp for children of migrant families
A 7-week program for 50 children, offering educational activities, daily meals, excursions, and community building.
