Scholarships and professional training for girls in Tumba, DR Congo.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, half of all girls are out of school. Only one in ten finishes her studies, with the risk of becoming a child bride and teenage mother.
That is why every year we guarantee 80 girls at our Kunda Dia Zayi school their right to go to school.
Supporting a scholarship means giving a girl a different choice for her future.
And for the girls who have already had to drop out of school? For them we designed a vocational initiation programme in sewing and horticulture.
Most of them are teenage mothers and thanks to our programme they also receive training in hygiene and nutrition, so that they can better take care of their children’s healthy growth.

Through these initiatives, the institute aims to break the cycle of poverty, promote gender equality, and build stronger communities. In recent years, these efforts have led to significant progress, with increased enrollment of girls in secondary education and successful job placements for those who complete the vocational training program.
